Light show at ALDAR new headquarters

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Glamourous light show for Aldar’s new headquarters

As part of the ceremonial opening of the new Abu Dhabi Formula 1 race track on 1 November 2009, mamemo productions, in cooperation with A&O, realised a light show on the building of the new headquarters of ALDAR Properties. It was illuminated by FALCON xenon lighting systems from the manufacturer alpha one.

During an impressive light show, the FALCON xenon lighting systems illuminated the spherical glass and aluminium façade of the approximately 110 metre high complex. The client, mamemo productions, used 20 SKY FALCON ARC colour luminaires at the rear and 18 FALCON BEAM colour 7kW luminaires at the front to create the colourful lighting effects. The show and creative concept for the impressive and colour-intensive light choreography, including laser projections and background music, came from mamemo productions.

The ALDAR HQ is the first spherical building in the Middle East. It received, among other awards, the title “Best Futuristic Design 2008” and is part of the ALDAR construction projects of Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi. The state-of-the-art building with high international standards will be used as ALDAR’s headquarters, among others.

ALDAR is the leading real estate development and management company in Abu Dhabi. Its real estate portfolio includes the most important redevelopments and developments in Abu Dhabi.
