25+ years of expertise in outdoor light staging
AO Drones is a division of Arts Outdoor Lighting Multimedia Events and Drones LLC, a multimedia specialist based in Germany and in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. AO Multimedia & Drones developed the FALCON® series, the brightest searchlights in the world, and established a global company. Multimedia shows became AO’s flagship products, such as 2000 Millennium Bell Berlin NYE, opening of Katara Amphitheatre, Burj Khalifa NYE 2018, 2019 & 2021 for example, where light became an element alongside award-winning content, soundtrack and lasers. The Light Up 2018 show at Burj Khalifa was awarded the Guinness World Record for the largest light and sound show on a single building.
Since 2018, drone light shows have been a part of AO’s repertoire under the AO Drones brand. In the meantime, we can look back on magnificent multimedia drone light shows, flown scanable QR codes, emotional storytelling at live events and attention-grabbing advertising clip projects for social media communication. Our clients include creative agencies and well-known names as Adidas, Toshiba, Porsche, Jordan as well as city councils and public authorities. Just to name a few.
In 2024 we set the Guinness World Record for the “first 360 degree drone show around a single building” with a fantastic drone show in Dubai. A Chinese dragon made of drones flew around the Burj Al Arab for the Chinese New Year.
