150 years of Giesecke + Devrient

The Giesecke & Devrient company celebrated its 150th anniversary on 21.06.02 in Munich. By the way, G+D is the company that not only prints our banknotes, but also the banknotes for another 80 nations. G+D also produces ID systems and telephone cards.

A huge glass event tent was erected on the grounds of the Congress Center especially for the anniversary. From this glass tent, the approx. 1,100 guests had an impressive view of the outside world, as the glass tent was surrounded by beautiful architectural lighting. As a special highlight there was a searchlight show with 26 beams, which came together to form a gigantic pyramid in the sky at the end of the event.
