AO Multimedia & Drones was honoured to be the trusted partner for producing the first giant drone show during the full month of February. Through Zain Kuwait and the official Touristic Enterprises Company AO was invited to open and support the Kuwait market for the new kind of media communication through professional drone shows. With eight beautiful animated drone shows, each with 2000 LED drones, Kuwait celebrated its National Day and Liberation Day at Green Island Kuwait.

The show proofed the possibilities of drones to create wonderful animated two- and threedimensional scenes in the sky – like a Kuwaiti leading his camel, a pearl diver diving on the bottom for shells or an ancient gate opens to give a view to Kuwait’s skyline.

Also portraits of the Emir of Kuwait and the Deputy of the Emir of Kuwait were integrated to the story. It is a special challenge to realize the portraits in such a way that the pictured people – here the Emir and the Deputy – agree with them. Colours and position of the drones are precisely coordinated. Since the portraits fly in an implied 3D formation, a portrait must look good from an angle as wide as possible.

The very impressive storytelling of the drone show is about Kuwait in the past, the present and in the future. The 20 minutes show time was presented to the people eight times on several days during the Green Island Season activities.
