This year, we were delighted to enrich the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) with an extraordinary production.  As a partner of the Dubai Economic and Tourism Authority (DET), we are delighted to be driving the creative evolution of live entertainment and setting new standards for visual experiences with this project.

Our two drone shows were thematically unique:

•  THEME 1: The first show celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Dubai Shopping Festival and focussed on the variety of festival highlights.

•  THEME 2: The second show was dedicated to Dubai’s vision of the future and brought the innovative power of the city to life with abstract, dynamic formations and large-scale sky images.

Scheduled for 76 performances over 38 evenings, we offered thousands of visitors along the coast an impressive visual experience. 1,000 drones transformed the skies above The Beach, JBR and Bluewaters Bay into a glowing stage, creating unforgettable moments.

THEME 2: CELEBRATING DUBAI AS DESITNATION OF THE FUTURE

Our second drone show theme set focus on Dubai as the destination to be. This show was designed as an inspiring and dynamic show, celebrating the unique blend of tradition and modernity in the city of Dubai. A captivating mix of unexpected 2D and 3D formations, integrating Dubai’s iconic landmarks, created a visual spectacle that showcased the city’s futuristic vision while honoring its roots.

TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS AT DSF 2024/25

•  LED and pyro drones combined for the first time for an even deeper visual dimension.
•  Live skydivers from a height of 10,000 feet, equipped with pyro effects, accompanied the first presentations of each of the themed shows and created spectacular highlights.
•  Optimised software control for smooth transitions and immersive show design.

Each of our customised shows relied on precise choreography, large-scale formations and a coordinated energetic soundscape to transport the audience into a new world of storytelling. The Dubai Shopping Festival is one of the city’s biggest annual events and delights visitors from all over the world with a varied programme. With our innovative drone shows, we were able to be part of this unique experience.

Drones formed an animated abstract morphing cloud. This element morphed live into the abstract shapes of the iconic buildings of Burj Al Arab and Museum of the Future.

For the opening presentation of show 2 the heart was highlighted with a framing red glowing pyro comet effect.

To the iconic sound of Scatman John’s title Scatman a huge three-dimensional camel DJ appeared in the sky.

For the first opening presentation of show 2 a spectacular skydiver stunt enthused the audience. Real skydivers with pyro effects jumped out of 10,000 feet height and circling down to the huge skydiver built by drones with pyro effects on his strings.

The huge skydiver built by drones was the mindblowing landing sequence of the drone show to create a spectaular finish of the show.
