The Funnel – A Drone spectacle the World has never seen before

In cooperation with Skydive Dubai, AO Multimedia & Drones has once again redefined what is possible in aerial storytelling. During the Dubai Shopping Festival, we constructed a monumental drone tunnel spanning the entire bay between Bluewaters Island and The Beach JBR.

Dimensions of the impossible:

•  500 m in length

•  300 meters wide at the entrance

•  350 meters high, narrowing like a funnel toward the shoreline

Engineered with our newest, brightest and safest LED drone fleet, the structure was designed at the perfect aerodynamic angle for skydiving precision.

Supported by the Dubai Marine Police and specialized stunt camera drones, skydivers jumped from 5,000 feet and flew in formation through the illuminated funnel — enhanced with synchronized special effects.
